NJ AITC Lessons
STEM Design Challenges
These STEM design challenges combine science, engineering, and agriculture, and they encourage create thinking. Students work in small groups to plan and build their own greenhouse, rain gauge, pea trellis, or pumpkin stand. They are given parameters for the project, but no exact instructions. Each design challenge is linked to New Jersey Learning Standards for kindergarten through fifth grade. If you have questions about these lessons, please contact: njagliteracy@gmail.com.
